ICTMM2024 follows the highly successful congress held in Bangkok in 2022 and will be the next in a long series of congresses dating back to 1913. The great attraction of the ICTMMs is that each congress is hosted in a different country so that the ICTMMs are truly international in focus and venue. We are greatly looking forward to meeting on the island of Borneo and joining with our Malaysian hosts in 2024.
This 2024 congress will be the first one held in Malaysia. Kuching is a small city but is well connected with the rest of the world. We are excited to endorse this congress organised under the auspices of the Malaysian Society for Parasitology and Tropical Medicine and led by Professor Dr Siti Nursheena Mohd Zain. Prof Zain and her highly enthusiastic and professional team promise to bring together an exciting scientific program held in a beautiful part of the world.
ICTMM2024 will provide the ideal venue for over 2000 delegates to discuss the latest advances in the wide disciplines of tropical medicine and of malaria. The organising committee have already laid the foundation for a successful congress, to be held in the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in Kuching city. The congress team have already gathered strong support for this congress, and I am confident that they will deliver an outstanding congress.
