NVP Scientific Spring Meeting & ALV 2025

We, the organizers of the NVP spring meeting, would like to welcome you all to this latest edition of the meeting to be held at Amsterdam UMC on the 26th of June. This year, we would like to especially encourage and inspire the younger generation of parasitologists to share their vision/work with the wider community by implementing a new Young Presenter's award of 100 euros. Participants available for consideration are any Masters students, PhD students or Postdocs (within 3 years of graduation) who are presenting either a poster or an oral presentation. So please come join us (young and senior parasitologists) for some great discussions regarding the fascinating parasites we all research on.

9.00 – 10.00: General Assembly of the Netherlands Society for Parasitology (members only)

10.00 – 10.15: Registration for the Annual Spring Meeting including Coffee

10.15 – 11.15: keynote

11:15 - 12:15: Talks session 1

12.15 – 13.00: Lunch break (buffet) + poster walk

13.00 – 14.15: Talks session 2

14.15 – 14.45: Tea break + poster walk + final votes for poster

14:45 – 15.45: Talks session 3; young presenter award

15:45 – 16.30: BI award ceremony

16:30 - 17.30: Drinks
